Although there is no dust jacket, the book itself is in very good condition with 410 pages, good binding, bright red cover. Often considered the best novel written by Ernest Hemingway. During the Spanish Civil War, American hero Robert Jordan falls in love with Spanish woman named Maria, while assigned to desperate mission of blowing up and completely destroying an important bridge. The book was made into a movie in 1943 starring Gary Cooper and Ingrid Bergman.
