Intravistas: Word Drawing

Felicia Yampolskaya calls this work "office art." It originates by drawing in black and white when she is on the telephone, and ends in calm with a crayon. She has exhibited her work widely and is in museum collections. It is a new form of slam drawing. A conceptual visual artist, Yampolskaya has organized festivals and town hall meeting boards, and originated the town hall wall on the Mall at President Clinton's inauguration.Rufus Goodwin is a former journalist, a poet, and a desktop publisher, founder of URBAN PRESS. He is the conceiver of the Intravistas format for word drawing and does the text from the picture.
