Description ▲
15 Pages. Irish Needlepoint is a delicate and decorative form of needle lace work, is frequently called Youghai Lace. It first began as a copy of Italian Lace, but over time it developed its own distinct characteristics. Reticella Lace, or Greek lace as it is commonly called is probably one of the oldest forms of needle lace work. This book contains instructions for the stitches used to make both of these lovely forms of lace, as well as recommendations for projects where they would be highly effective. It provides excellent diagrams and photography of the stitches used to make this stunning work. REPRODUCTION
