Ten Austrian Positions is the first title in a new series that presents the work of young architects from Austria and neighboring countries. Each volume focuses on ten architects whose work demonstrates unusual perspectives on architecture, or has spurred international debate on the future of the profession. The building styles range from uncompromisingly minimalist work to environmentally friendly design. The Emerging Architecture series provides a platform for promising architecture as it is constructed. It serves as a comprehensive yet compact introduction to innovative architecture in Europe. Future volumes are scheduled to appear annually.
