On the back cover HOM wrote: Brenda Walters was kidnapped from her father's ranch in the Arizona territory in 1870, just two weeks after her nineteenth birthday. She was led off into the night, gagged, hands bound behind her back with rawhide, and taken across the border where no American lawman could follow. In a hidden valley in the desert Brenda becomes one of many captive females. In this valley girls are kept bound or handcuffed, and punished for most any sin, especially lesbian lovemaking, which become a problem when she finds herself falling in love with her captor's dark haired teenage daughter, Melinda. Beginning in the 1970's (possibly earlier) and thru the 90's F. E. Campbell wrote BDSM stories for HOM, House of Milan. The early books, through #149, had titles and simple numbers on the spine, and later books continued the numerical sequence but had "HIT" and the number. Standard size paperback books with covers dominantly red in color. Virtually all had cover drawings by 'The Bishop' and these covers are prized today. These are stories of submissive females.
