Description

'For the Beauty of the Earth' is a tale of intrigue told by Bruce Warrick, a handsome, young, Harvard MBA who has almost everything, including a beautiful wife, a mansion in Old Greenwich and a new position managing one of Wall Street's largest hedge funds. But Bruce suffers from a severe sleep disorder accompanied by lucid dreaming and under emotional duress he falls into a cataleptic sleep.
Bruce's CEO introduces him to the Keynes Society at the Harvard Club in New York with 49 other top hedge fund managers. Members of the secretive Keynes Society control $1.2 trillion in investment assets or $1 in every $9 of gross domestic product in the US.
The Keynes Society is trading stocks from their own List as directed by a private Board of 364 of the world's most elite, financial CEOs within the enigmatic Bilderberg Group. As "The List" is illegally manipulating the stock market, idealistic Bruce opts to become a whistle-blower against the Bilderberg Group's cash cow. He soon learns there is a price to pay. One day, Bruce is awakened by his wife from a narcoleptic episode in bed in Greenwich en dishabille with his dead secretary and he's holding the weapon of a double-murder.  This gifted, idealistic mind and renegade from the Keynes Society - supremely challenged by the staggering, lucid hallucinations of his narcolepsy -- attempts with his stunning wife to untangle, by the remembrance of luminous dreams, the threads of the overwhelming evidence in the homicide charges filed against him.
