The Cannons at the Gate (Eagle Canyon Squadron Book 1)

An adventurous, animated tale of six skilled predators; a lion, a lioness, a collie, two Afghans, and a Siberian tiger who are called upon by their animal nation to destroy an enemy fortress overlooking the narrow straits between two continents. The team, known as Eagle Canyon Squadron must infiltrate enemy territory, get to the fortress and destroy a cannon bunker to allow six ships to pass through the straits and rescue a group of nomads stranded on an island above the Arctic Circle. If the the rescue is not accomplished the nomads and the island will be swallowed by an approaching winter storm and all will perish.
