The Finnish IT outsourcing market was worth €1,584 million in 2009 — up 1.1% from 2008. The forecast compound annual growth rate for 2010–2014 is 3.1%, and the total market value in 2014 is expected to be at €1,845 million.
"The outsourcing market did comparatively well during the difficult 2009, ending with a growth — albeit a small one," said Per-Arne Sandegren, senior research analyst, Communications, IDC Nordic. "The market has stabilized and the improving overall economy is now more strongly impacting the various IT services segments," Sandegren added.
