Connecticut Tree Laws; a Compilation of Pertinent Statutes and Regulations for Arborists, Foresters, Tree Wardens and others involved with Connecticut Trees (A Reference Guide February 2010)

This publication brings together those Connecticut state laws that relate to trees, with a particular emphasis on the laws that refer to the care, management and use of trees. In doing so, we hope to assist individuals involved in the main tree-related professions - arborists, foresters, and forest product harvesters. It is also hoped to help people whose official duties make them responsible for the public's trees - including tree wardens, conservation commissioners and elected officials. This publication is not intended to be a definitive listing of tree laws and does not attempt in any way to interpret these laws.
