Hand to Mouth to India

I wrote Hand to Mouth to India in 1997/8 at the age of 20 and it’s the tale of how I hitchhiked from England to India with no money.

I risked hunger, Hungarian damsels, Islamic conversion attempts and over-friendly truck drivers as I hitched through England, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and India until I washed up on the shores of Goa with a dollar in my pocket.
