The true story of an Architect growing up and starting to practice in the ‘real world’. This book is about design and working in the Construction Industry, but it is also about life and people. It is both informative and amusing, with Pat & Co. risking their lives to illustrate everything to the best of their ability.
After the Interval, the book delves into some tricky areas like the Planning system, how to avoid ‘just’ jobs, dealing with idiots and coping with teenagers. Then there are case studies, thoughts for the future, and the inevitable ‘letters of complaint’ from all those easily offended or confused.
If nothing else this book has been extremely well wrote.
