In the third book in the Mary Hardy Series, Jack Reynolds and four Texas Rangers disappear somewhere in the Davis Mountains. Hardy is sent to investigate their disappearance and learn if they are alive or dead. She devises a unique disguise to infiltrate the small town of Balmorhea.
