GARRITY, a huge pharmaceutical company built on corporate greed, lucrative research grants and media manipulation, has run into trouble. It tries to keep its star in the Texas heaven alive with news of a new miracle cure for cancer. When the drug is discovered to be nothing more than a media scam GARRITY crashes. Billions are lost in the stock market, wiping out investments, pension plans and life savings; thousands lose their jobs and homes, cancer patients lose their hopes and lives.
Not satisfied that the courts will mete out the real justice the GARRITY executives deserve, a group of Texans form the “Vigilantes for GARRITY Justice.” But the Vigilantes are one step behind the king rat, Mike McCarthy, Chairman of GARRITY. He has hired a sniper to eliminate those who could testify against him and bring him down. What he doesn’t know is that his is not the only sniper in town - and that the Texas Ranger investigating the shootings is one of the Vigilantes.
