Learning about American Indians through Their Art” was designed as a contemporary teaching tool to provide information about various Southwestern and Woodland American Indian peoples by studying their art. Each art item, selected for this digital book, revealed a story about the culture and traditions of the artist and about a specific group of American Indian people. The 6 vignettes include information about American Indian nations and their unique art forms. Learn about the Pueblos, the Navajo & Hopi people. Topics for further internet research topics are provided for each vignette.
