Voran the Night Guardian

It’s 2011, and werewolves and vampires remain just stories for books and movies, but they are real. These creatures maintain their secrecy, but occasionally one gets the hunger for power. When the night and humanity are threatened, it is a voran that must fight to keep the balance and the secrets that would destroy the world of man.
Nick Steel is a voran, nature’s reaction to the supernatural. He is a man with extra powers designed to deal with creatures like vampires and werewolves. He has the gift to both kill or to preserve the humanity still within a vampire.
When a girl is kidnapped, Nick tracks her down only to find out that she is being held by werewolves and more importantly, she is like him. Needing to save a fellow voran, he is forced to call for aid from his allies, a small clan of vampires that help to preserve the balance.
Voran, the Night Guardian follows Nick and his clan of vampires through the streets of Chicago, the suburbs and into the woods. When a new clan threatens it all, who will be the final victor of the night and what will happen to the people living in the city they have chosen for their home?
