Just a Girl...

I just want to be a normal girl, to have friends, to not have to worry, to be happy. But, I cannot sleep in my own house. Instead, I live in fear, wanting to hide, waiting for the doorknob to turn in the middle of the night, wishing he would leave me alone. I would give anything to just be like any other girl... Even though, beyond my secret, I am just like everybody else.
