Description

We trust that you will gain benefit and insight from each of our templates. Our approach is to provide you with a standardised model and access to the knowledge gained over 30 years within the Information Technology industry and offer this in a modularised manner. Thus allowing you to purchase only the pieces that you require, without purchasing an entire methodology or text book on the subjects covered.

The structure is to provide you with the layout of each template, with details within each section that define what you are required to write to complete the document and in most cases examples of this.

Project Management Plan (PMP) is a primary deliverable for all projects and programs.

The PMP document outlines how the Project / Program will be performed and managed. It presents the schedule, deliverables and target milestones. It also describes who will be involved and the roles and responsibilities of all parties.

Note: The Project / Program Management Plan shall be commenced during the initial phase of a project or program and is updated and revised through the life of the project through the integrated change control process during each subsequent phase of the Project Lifecycle.

The Project Management Plan is one of the 3 key project documents identified in the PMBOK© Guide. It is composed of the collection of plans and documents, in the most part generated as part of other deliverables. Those items become the subsidiary plans and components of the Project Management Plan.

The Project Management Plan is a formal, approved document or set of documents, whose purpose is to define how the project is executed, monitored and controlled, and closed. It may be summary or detailed depending on the size and complexity of the project. It may be composed of one or more subsidiary management plans and other planning documents.
