Arthur John Rees (1872–1942) was an Australian-born British mystery writer. Born in Melbourne, Rees worked as a journalist before emigrating to Britain in the 1890s. He published his first novel in 1913, and over the next two decades regularly turned out well-plotted and intriguing mysteries. His final novel appeared in 1940, two years before his death.
