This IDC Manufacturing Insights report examines the enterprise asset management (EAM) software market for the period 2008–2010 and provides the market share of the leading software vendors for 2010.
"The EAM market returned to positive growth of 6.9% in 2010 after a decline of 12.9% in 2009. The demand for managing global assets, stricter compliance guidelines, and energy consumption management will drive the growth of the EAM software market," according to Sanjeev Pal, research manager, Product, Project, and Portfolio Management.
