Willow's Time

Willow, almost sixteen, has a passion for the piano and Rafael, a boyfriend her mother disapproves of. Thinking of her life and wondering if she, too, deep down, disapproves of Rafel, she stares into the calm water of the lagoon that feeds into the Pacific Ocean near her Southern California home. Without warning the water turns turbulent and she finds herself on the banks of a rushing river. She doesn't know it yet, but she has been transported to a different world, on another continent, more than three hundred years in the past. Within hours she sees a witch burned in a town square. What she knows from the future does her little good in her new environment – at first in a peasant shack and then in the mansion of the local lord. It even threatens her life. And it changes her forever.
