Author and screenwriter Elise Connelly becomes entangled in both murder and romance on the set where her first novel is being made into a movie.
Elise has just come off a break-up with her mediocre boyfriend when the film’s star Gregor McKeon, a notorious playboy, announces his attraction to her. Naturally, he is engaged, to a snooty countess who becomes universally despised on the movie set. Elise (briefly) tries to resist Gregor, but soon falls victim to his charms…and into his bed.
Meanwhile, Gregor finds himself the victim of two attempts on his life by an unknown assailant. Along with the film’s director, Teo Carreras (a most enthusiastic amateur sleuth), the two new lovers race to unmask the killer.
