Raw. Shocking. Provocative. Uncensored. Read the controversial novel about the dark underbelly of high school.
WARNING: Not for the squeamish or light of heart. Contains material that may offend.
Hell, North Dakota. Here, teenagers lose their innocence in a cesspit of recreational and psychiatric drugs, pseudo-macho ideals, and incessant verbal, physical, and sexual abuse. After a cruel prank causes a girl to commit suicide, her fellow students must face their inner darkness. And none of them may survive prom night...
Praise from reviewers and Amazon readers:
“Raw, real, shocking . . . if only a mainstream publisher today would be brave enough to mass publish this.†– Karl Vadaszffy, UK author of Full of Sin and The Missing
Hell on Earth, and Not in Small Doses
“…a hideous compression of small town evil…Exaggerated? Unlikely? So you or I might say. But the realities of such massacres as Columbine High School say otherwise, with a far louder and far clearer voice." -- Graham Worthington, author of Wake of the Raven and Zorn
Gloriously Different from Anything Else you have Ever Read
“Take every person you knew in high school and take their bad character traits to the extreme and you will have the characters of Hell High….Personally, I could not put this book down. I finished it in two days in between classes and homework and do not regret it at all.â€
"[Raptor] takes the absolute worst of humans, turns it into a train wreck...and yet, I Couldn't. Stop. Reading" -- Kindle Customer, 2-Star Review
THE CONTROVERSY
Art That Should Not Have Been Made
"The author seems dead. To live and breathe hate. It's actually striking, the depth of blackness this guy goes to. In my mind, there's no redeeming value. It's art that shouldn't have been made."
Speechless
The author derived the most sadistic, deranged, disturbed teenagers and put them altogether in the same high school . . . It's hard to believe Satan's hell is as demented as Hell High . . . I don't know how I got through it..albeit, my morbid curiosity."
SPOILER ALERT!
"This book was free on my Kindle Fire, and I figured, why not? It was mostly surprising, psychotic, sadistic, and most of the time, raunchy. The characters had no basing, in which two of the characters commit suicide, another drinks and drives, killing her passenger, and is sent to jail. Multiple of the characters contract STD'S and then give them to everyone in the school. The coach kills his wife in an alcoholic rage. In the end, one of the strange, psychotic characters kills his entire class during the prom and then commits suicide. I could say that this book was surprising in the end, but it was mostly disturbing and makes me want to wish that I had never picked up the book in the first place. If you are under the ages of 16 or 17 and older, DO NOT READ THIS BOOK." -- Alexis via Goodreads.com
