US Carrier Capex Will Top $70 Billion in 2009

US capital expenditures will increase rapidly as carriers move to deploy new services and reduce network operational costs during the next 3 years. This will drive capex to more than $70 billion in 2009 before pulling back slightly, and will create new opportunities for vendors.
