The greatest need of the hour is for God's people to abandon their own abilities, even spiritual abilities, and to depend on Christ in all matters great and small. Many of us have been as far as Pentecost, in God's dealings. Now the issue is raised: do we go forth to save the world or do we come before God with no ability whatever to do or think anything and look to the Lord Jesus Christ for every thought we think, every word we speak, and every step we take?
Out from man’s heart come his desires. Out from his desires come man’s choices. Out from man's choices comes man's destiny. Our will stands apart from this cycle and determines its direction.
Each day we are choosing life or death. Each day we should ask God to guide our choices.
The Scriptures teach plainly and in several places that every person who has ever lived will be judged, including the believers in Christ. Each individual will be rewarded according to his deeds, according to what he has done during his lifetime on the earth. The Scriptures teach also that judgment begins with the saints; and in some instances the afflictions and tribulations that come upon them are Divine judgment.
There is the Christian religion with its many activities, and then there is the Kingdom of God. What is the difference? The difference is, the Christian religion is a means to an end. The Kingdom of God is the end product.
Let us put the same thing in another manner. The purpose of all the activities of the Christian religion is to form Christ in the believers. God’s eternal purpose is to fill all of the creation with Christ. This is the Kingdom of God.
