taught the same as tricky (sight) words. This helps children become
fluent readers as they should not need to use their phonics to decode these words that appear often in their reading.
By age 6 children should:- Read automatically the list of 100 High Frequency words.
- Accurately spell most of the 100 High Frequency words.
