EDUCATION REFORM

FACT 1: Interactive audio visual computer education can be made as motivating as a video game with appropriate audio and visual rewards that are better than live teacher motivation. Only at the elementary school level will teachers be necessary to teach basic English, basic computer skills, and basic moral behavior in children.
FACT 2: Interactive audio visual computer education can be programmed for very slow, slow, average, fast, and very fast learners to minimize misunderstanding and boredom to very acceptable levels.
FACT 3: Public schools and universities are turning out too many graduates that can’t find jobs in the technologically saturated job market which does not require a traditional Liberal arts education.
CONCLUSION: Public school education beyond the elementary level is going to be a dead profession in the not too distant future. Elementary school teachers will still have to teach basic English, basic computer skills, and impart basic moral behavior in young children. However, mediocre public school education beyond the elementary school level is doomed even though politically potent teachers will continue to fight tooth and nail to try and keep the dysfunctional status quo. This book will show how to develop an educational system that promotes students based on merit and not age. It will also show how the system can be tailored to teach useful job skills for a technologically advanced world of the future. Unfortunately not everyone will be able to reach the high levels of skill necessary for future good jobs so this book also shows how the welfare system can be reformed so that everyone out of work will be provided with basic needs door to door and will still have the hope, through more effort and free technological education, to land a useful job in society. Many will live on welfare for a lifetime, but that is a natural state of affairs when robots will be doing most of the work for us in the not too distant future.
