Land Girls

Soon after the Battle of Britain, three young women - Prue a man-eating apprentice hairdresser from Manchester, Stella a dreamy Surrey girl, giddily in love, and Agatha, a Cambridge graduate - are catapulted from their contrasting worlds and find themselves sharing a dormitory together in the depths of the West Country as land girls, and laying the foundations for a friendship that will last a lifetime.
