Who would think that trash disposal and wastewater treatment could incite murder?
Under The Landfill is an eco-thriller featuring Dr. Delaney Sharp, an edgy clinical psychologist who owns a haunted house, and dabbles in suicide and hostage negotiation. She is compelled to team up with investigative reporter, Mick Chavez, to research an innovative eco-project that converts landfill methane gas into energy. They match wits with Sybil Lennox, a red-headed mastermind, vehemently opposed to the project. Her specialty is eco-terrorism, and she unleashes a series of sensational violent events to promote her environmental activist agenda.
Delaney is further shocked by the appearance of her ex-lover, who disappeared without a trace four years ago. He used to work for Lennox, and his abrupt reappearance is too convenient to be a coincidence.
They all cross paths at the landfill gas-to-energy grand opening, where Lennox has rigged an explosive surprise for the guests and dignitaries.
