Jane, a divorcee, works in the accounts department. A plain girl with no dress sense, she thinks romance has passed her by. Only Susan, Queen Bee of Accounts, sees her hidden assets. Sue arranges for the eligible bachelor Pete to be Jane's escort at the company Valentine's Day party. All that is missing is a suitable dress for Jane, and Susan's Grandmother's Old-time ballgown and girdle bring in Jane a dramatic transformation!
