The Bible claims to be the “inspired” word of God. The Greek word translated “inspired” is literally “God- Breathed”. This issue of the Areopagus Journal presents the foundational teaching on the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and foundational claims of the Bible and Christian faith.
There are numerous attacks on the infallibility and authority of the Bible which are addressed in other journal issues, but the starting place is the foundational proofs of the ultimate authority of the Bible. The five articles make the case for the infallible authority of the Bible and include guidelines for dealing with the few Bible difficulties sometimes encountered.
