Edryd and Aolani (The Twilight Elves Saga Book 1)

The Elysium Isles were home to a mighty race of elves. Proud and beautiful they harnessed magic and achieved immortality. A cataclysmic event sank their paradise into the sea. Gathering all that could be saved the Elysium Elves sailed away and the wounded and dying landed on the shores of Tyrrhenia, the land of men. Here they find a home. But all is not ideal for them. There is no magic here and the elves are dying out. Their immortality lost. The strength of a king's prayer to the goddess Cyrridwyn gives them a second chance at a new life across the Sea of Sorrows and a chance to take back their immortality.
But such gifts always have a price and the dissatisfaction of one brings the downfall of all. The king and the last of the Twilights as they are now called flee into the world in a last effort to save their race; never seen again they become nothing more than legend. But a surfaced prophecy and two very special children bring about the chance to save the Twilights and restore their former glory. The Great Evil, Theremin however has other plans. He will stop at nothing to destroy the children before they destroy him. In a race against time The Great Evil tries to find and destroy this one last chance to bring about his destruction and bring a millennia of peace to a suffering and broken world.
