Truer words have never been spoken especially if you're a Phillies fan. “The Cure” is a story about baseball, life and a dream season that ended in a nightmare.

After winning a record 102 games in the 2011 regular season, the Philadelphia Phillies were unceremoniously eliminated in the very first round of the playoffs. So traumatic was this Phillies early and unexpected exit that many fans are still unable to watch, talk or even think about baseball. I was one of those fans until I found “The Cure.”

“The Cure” is for any fan who has ever found themselves on the wrong side of a box score (and who hasn’t?) “The Cure” is for any fan who has ever had their heart broken by the team they love (and again, I ask, who hasn’t?) In short, for Phillies fans, “The Cure” is the antidote for a 2011 playoff run that poisoned an entire season.
