“The inspired path to becoming the best salesman that ever livedâ€
This book shoots from the hip. If you don’t want to change your skill set, you won’t like it one bit. Don’t read any further, I can’t change you.
If you want to enhance your sales career or as a newbie learn a range of hard arsed facts from a seasoned pro, you’ll need to read the book in one sitting.
This book is about consequences – your actions are your responsibility and they will have consequences. Whether you make these positive or negative is your choice. The tools I have provided only aim for the positive.
If you have experienced the negatives then you’ll know that tough lessons are the hardest to learn from but the easiest to come back from, especially if you have the tools onboard (mentally) to convert them into positives. Blending these into your sales technique through reflecting on this positive mental experience can only lead you towards success. You have empowered yourself through your own efforts – not someone elses – but your own. These are the building bricks of your sales success because they are what you have engineered for yourself.
But like all careers, hard work is the consequence of success, because to be successful you ain’t scared of doing the hard work. There are those around you who flirt with the ideaology of hard work, they talk it up and they act out as if they are successful, and you stress in your mind that you can’t seem to reach them. But the talkers often forget that if their actions do not speak louder than their words they are up shit creek without a paddle.
Short term success is just that, short term. If you put in the effort for the long term, and I mean really apply your self in both mind and body (and soul), you’ll not only achieve consistent short term success but your foundations are laid for you to win in the long term because your customer has faith in your ability to make them profit. The short term will be your bread and butter success, the long term will be your career high. The highs will remain consistent, if you are prepared to put in the effort and you reinforce the positives all day and every day.
