History is the most boring subject in school. Don’t believe me? Ask any student. Or read the lead story in Newsweek March 28 & April 4, 2011: “How to Get Smart Again.”
If we want to make history a quality subject we have to make it relevant and interesting. What we are going to need are books that offer a fresh perspective on why history is important.
