The Paperweight Doctors

An American satellite falls from space and crashlands onto an island off the coast of Brazil. Sabotage or technical malfunction? The government hires a team of specialists called the Gray Platoon to recover the satellite, all of them gifted with peculiar, uncanny abilities: one is able to shrink at will; another has the power to metamorphose into any shape she chooses; another has the capability to increase in body mass, every member donating his own special attributes to the team. On the island, called Pêlo de Deus, the Gray Platoon, under the terse, gruff leadership of Sgt. Mick Copper, divides itself in the fantastical search for the Red Guardian satellite. They go off on their own unique, spectacular adventures and regroup at the end to confront an unthinkable, unimaginable villain
