For anyone who's thought about ditching it all and moving to the sticks, this is for you.

Leaving the comfort of Atlanta, I moved to the Tennessee mountains to live a life of simplicity in a solar home, with compost toilets and rainwater collection. Little did I know, the lifestyle I'd chosen was as chaotic as the busy city I'd left behind. Taking up farming, dealing with animals and encountering local residents brought about enriching experiences I would've never imagined otherwise.

UNPLUGGED is my memoir of surviving the trials, successes and failures of moving to the Appalachian Mountains and building an off-grid home.
