Description

This is a floor yoga class with no standing poses. However, it is not necessarily a gentle class. How you work the poses in any class will determine how strong of a class it is. In other words, you can make this a gentle yoga class for yourself if you like, or you can hold the poses longer and work into the stretch more for a stronger yoga class.

The areas that are stretched are the neck, shoulders, the groin muscles, hamstrings, a twist, an arch for the lower back, hips, the lower hips and lower back area. A breathing technique that helps the body relax is also included. The poses and included variations make this a very thorough class.

There are some great photos and full descriptions of the poses are included so you will have no trouble knowing how to do each pose. The relaxation at the end should be pretty deep, especially if you work the poses with some vigor.

The photos alone are repeated at the end so you can go through the class more effeciently once you have read the descriptions.
