Description

The Japanese Landscape garden, like the English Landscape garden, is a human product, even if its appearance is of a natural landscape. From an analysis of its structure it appears that every element in the Japanese garden is carefully studied and the result is a space more artificial than the English one where the human intervention is evident. The decision to compare these two architectural expressions is due to the fact that they are the product of two different countries and cultures in the same period that is the seventieth and eightieth century, in Japan and in England.
