The events of this story are true. The names have been changed to protect the innocent.
The Military has made it legal for Gays, but it is NOT accepted by the general population yet. Many are doing what they can to weed out our soldiers they consider to be "less desirable"
Read one soldiers story.
It was not an interview. It was an interrogation. The agent was becoming very forceful, trying to get me to change my statements. He made me very nervous and uncomfortable and I stopped the interview. I have said nothing untruthful. I keep being told “The truth will come out†by Cpt. Watson and the Chaplain. The truth IS out. It is being twisted to use against me and condemn me for innocent actions. I have had charges in both situation of sexual assault, assault and battery, and conduct unbecoming an Officer. At the Article 32, Core and Green were allowed to testify by phone. The week after the investigation I had to move, spend thousands to find a new place to live, was not given any timeline, had a no contact order issued to me against my ENTIRE class, made to work in the same building and same wing of the building on the same schedule as the people I was ordered to not contact. The only support I have received from the ALU is them making sure I would not kill myself. I have been considered a criminal from day one. My class graduated 13 Mar 12. I have had to stay here and PCS and work staff jobs. I have not seen my family since November, I am under constant stress and anxiety and cannot sleep at night.
