Replacing Picnik

This short book contains all of the information that you need to switch from the photo editing program Picnik to another free photo editing program called Gimp. The book teaches you everything you need to know about Gimp in 5 lessons. These lessons are an apples-to-apples way of explaining what was done in Picnik, and what tools Gimp uses to achieve the same result. After a brief explanation, each lesson links to a video tutorial that will teach you all about that specific topic in Gimp.

After you get through the 5 lessons, the end of the book contains step-by-step instructions on how to replicate all of the effects in Picnik's Effects and Touch Up menus with Gimp.
