We need a Revolution

Gary Newson is having a mid-life crisis. He lives in an area of Europe that used to be called England which is now under military rule. Poverty and starvation are quite common but signing up to become part of the military brings it's rewards in the form of a comfortable life.

The Military also reward anyone who identifies to them anyone who speaks out against the establishment and many people suspect others around them of either being a potential informant or alternatively part of the growing underground revolutionary movement. As such, nobody dares speak their true feelings about the current political situation.

This story is set years in the future and sees Gary embroiled in the complicated world of the revolutionary underground whilst keeping a well respected job. He gets arrested and tortured all because of some mysterious lists that both the Military and Underground think might spark a revolution so do everything they can to get possession of them.
