The Light Keeper

Reeling from her recent divorce, Maggie Walters returns home to Friday Harbor, Washington for her parent's 35th wedding anniversary. She finds her surroundings foreign, but it is she who has changed more than the place.

As a girl she was shy and gawky with no life outside of her brother Pete and his best friend Sam. Maggie reconnects with Sam, whom she has always loved, and an unfamiliar electricity ignites between them. He is conflicted with feelings of guilt while she remains plagued by the insecurities of her childhood.

As Sam and Maggie explore their new relationship an old legend of the island ties their families together in surprising ways. Heartbreaking circumstances tear them apart. The only people that can bring them back together are the ones they would least expect.
