Narcissus or Daffodils A beautiful genus of spring blooming flowers, becoming more populir every year. Tliere are a large number of varieties, and some of the latest introductions are of exceptional merit. The varieties listed in this catalogue are among the most desirable. They are perfectly hardy, thriving in almost any soil and situation, and need not be disturbed oftener than once in 3or 4years, and not then unless they have become too much crowded with oflsets. Plant in the fall in good garden soil about 3or 4inches deep and 4to 6inches apart, or plant in pots in the house with 3or 4bulbs in a 5-inch pot, giving about the same treatment as for Hyacinths. The cut flowers of Daffodils are much in demand for bouquets and vases, and some of the varieties are forced in immense quantities by florists for cut flowers in winter. 193 A rd-R lgli, or I rish King. This is the earliest and most vigorous Giant Trumpet Daflouil inculiivation. Fine bold flowersof immense size. Color, both of perianth and trumpet, full rich yellow.
