The Girl From Area 51

Born in captivity, raised to age fourteen in a secret CIA laboratory, a strange girl finds a way to escape. She makes her way to Simpson Springs in Utah's west desert, and there finds help from a most unlikely family. The girl's first contact is with an old man who names the girl Jane. Jane knows nothing of the society she is entering, but her special powers let her know who she can trust. When Jane meets the old man's fourteen-year-old grandson, she discerns a kindred spirit. The problem is, the government scientists want Jane back in their lab, and Jane doesn't want to go back.
