Humanity stands defeated.

In a forever unchanging world, creatures beyond reasoning of man, the Unhumans, lurk within the shadows of the Night. Only by hiding within the light of the Whitefire has mankind survived to this day - under the iron rule of the Grandian Empire.

However, In the course of humanity's decline, a deep yearning for rebellion has been born. Some wish to overthrow the Administration, some wish to finally take up their arms against the Unhuman brood.

Young Fennel, since long standing in the shadow of his brother Ferras, gets drawn in between the clash of ideals for a world of freedom and peace. And no matter which path he decides to follow, the outcome will be a world standing aflame.
