Panchadasi

This classical Vedanta text contains the teachings of the 10th Acharya of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham Sri Vidyaranya Shankara Tirtha, and was authored by His direct successors over 600 years ago. It contains 15 chapters covering the essential topics of Advaita Vedanta, consisting of the Devanagari text, English translation and commentary. The particular strength of this work is that it has been translated and commented on by Sri Jnanananda Bharati, a swami of profound understanding of Advaita Vedanta and an erudite and clear command of the English language. The book is a photographic copy of the original publication and occasionally the Devanagari characters are difficult to read.
