What’s going on?

Gracie Hay loved her home on the little no-name road off the map. She had her friends, she had her horse, and she had her father. That was all she needed, right? But then a tornado came and took out everything – including her beloved horse – and she has to move across the city of San Antonio to live in a neighborhood.
Now, her friends, missing her as much as she misses her old home, are deeply puzzled by the stories told by the new owners of the Hays old land. They have recently built a house there, and have an adorable young daughter, and seem to be a normal, happy family. But the stories about the ghostly horse appearing on the hills at night gets them curious.
And curiosity killed the cat, you know.
