VELMA BARFIELD: GATEWAY TO HEAVEN
Velma Barfield was a serial poisoner whose preferred method of murder was arsenic. She was the first woman executed by lethal injection after the death penalty was reinstituted in the US in 1976.
Although she was only tried for one murder, she confessed to four at the time of her arrest but is believed to have committed six.
Was she the cold bloodied killer the prosecution portrayed, or was their another side to the story?
In this short book of approximately 34 pages, the author invites you to the world of the woman serial killer.
And invites you to answer what if anything was gained by her execution.
