Beyond the Shadow of a Doubt: Logical Deduction & the Reasoning Process (IBRI Research Reports Book 31)

During the 1960's some computer scientists thought that it was just a matter of time before scientists understood the reasoning process of the human brain. Today, they are not so sure! This talk reviews some of the results from the field of artificial intelligence, and the reasons why the human reasoning process remains elusive. Some remarks will also be offered concerning the nature of proof as practiced in the Bible and in theology.
