El Diablo

(This is an adult novel.) In the 1860’s, there was a sweet, little, blue-eyed girl who lived in the mountains of Texas on the border of Mexico. She had a brother named Kyle who she loved more than life. Nobody knew for sure what had happened to her, but one day when she was only six years old, she disappeared. She reappeared when she was a teenager in a town called Ojinaga across the border in Chihuahua, Mexico. Her name was Sissy, but for a while in Mexico, she was known as El Diablo.
